  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The past couple of weeks, we've gotten a noticeable increase in the people checking out the car in parking lots....most of the time, we are getting into our car and somebody will come up and ask me about the car, how we like it..how pretty it is and who makes the "Genesis" as my car has been rebadged. It had been happening about once a week but the past two weeks it's happened about 6 times.

Also, when we were at the Ohio State Fair last month, we stopped by the Hyundai Booth (they had several Hyundais rolled up on their sides to inspect the undersides...cool rack setup to allow this, by the way), and the guy there (from a local Hyundai dealership) offered to buy buy our '12 sight UNSEEN for what I considered to be a very VERY good price, as he said that he's had a demand for them.

The other Hyundai dealer, where we take this car for service when I need it), also, last week, offered to take the '12 in for what I considered an astronomical deal of a trade on a '15. Not biting on it yet, though, but here in OH, I'm tellin ya, that AWD is looking pretty tempting after having my 12 back here for the past two winters....

Every few months I get a postcard from one of the local Hyundai dealers offering to buy my '12 R-spec......for $24,000. Fat chance! It has less than 14,000 miles on it, never had one single issue and is in pristine condition.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I just got a 2013 3.8 sedan. I rebadged it. I have had several people stop and ask about what kind of car it is. I had to show one guy the little stickers on the side window and the logo on the steering wheel to convince him it is a Hyundai.

Hmmm maybe I need to look into removing those stickers. .......

If someone offered me a $50k 2015 Genesis AWD for my $20k 2012 model I'd take it, but unfortunately I'm not getting those offers lol.

Haha same!

Op, what were some of the offers you were getting? I've been seeing alot more on the road lately, which probably has to do with the affordable price for such a great car!
