  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Love my Genesis but disappointed with wind noise on the highway

I've noticed the leading rear door seal being out of place made up most of my wind noise.... it's not loud, but noticeable. Weirdly enough, it'll sound like it's coming from the mirror area & not behind you, like you would think.

Now, I'm careful not to dislodge it when getting in & out. Suppose I'll have to replace it at some point - it's only a $50 part that prob cost $2 to make.

Thanks skip, gotta check that. I noticed some wind noise just recently by my left ear when leaning back against the headrest, so may be exactly that. 👍

Yeah... If that seal looks kinda "floppity" or saggy, that's your culprit. It should follow the contour of the rear door.... Truth be told, it's kinda cheaply made.
