Lower Grill question for tech package

Hello Genesis enthusiasts! I have a 2011 4.6 genesis sedan with the tech package. Recently someone backed into my lower grill and cracked one of the lower rungs in the grill. Smart package works perfectly fine, but I want to overlay a mesh grill OVER the old grill. Has anyone tried this? Does the smart cruise need to be completely clear of obsticles? I found a grill that should work, an the mesh seems to be the largest spaced mesh available. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks all!
 
Don't cover the cruise radar panels. Also I think there is a temperature sensor that may also be affected.
