  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

ATP is heavily influenced by lineup make-up and what sells within a lineup (for example, Cadillac which sells a ton of the Escalade/ESV or Jag which doesn't sell very many of the XE).

Genesis' ATP is in line w/ Infiniti and Lexus, but should blow by them after the GV80 and the new G80 launch; wouldn't be surprised if it gets to around Audi's level.

As an aside, Hyundai's ATP was higher than Honda's for the month, and Kia's only slightly lower than Honda.

Hyundai - $27,858
Honda - $27,631
Kia - $27,540

The additions of the Palisade and Telluride have paid huge dividends for H/K.

Had to look it up - ATP = Average Transaction Price.

Interesting data.

Lincoln surprised me more than anything. Although I have been impressed by some of their recent updates, I would not have guessed that they would be above Audi and so close to BMW and Mercedes. I wonder how much is due to big SUVs like the Navigator.

Lincoln's ATP is most likely due to models like the Navigator. The bulk of their volume is essentially from 4 SUV's/CUV's (very few sedans) where Audi, BMW, Mercedes etc. sell a wide range of cars, CUV's and SUV's at a wide range of price points. Impressive showing by Lincoln though I hope they are able to keep it up.

Helps to be SUV/CUV dominated.

Similar reason why Cadillac's ATP is as high as it is - all those Escalade/ESV sales and the addition of the XT6 has helped.

Audi is also helped by the fact that a higher % of their sales consists of CUVs compared to BMW and MB, which partially makes up for low A6 and A8 sales, but at the same time, don't have a real GLS/X7 competitor.

Lexus and Acura sales are dominated by CUVs/SUVs, but we're talking mostly RX and MDX price-points or lower.
