Sorry in advance if these questions have been answered already on the forum.
So I just got a new to me 2010 3.8 V6 with around 28k miles. (It was driven by an grandma that was only drove locally.) I was looking at the recommended matinience and I will be taking it in for service at 30,000 miles. Any thing to look out for specifically?
The first question is about the transmission fluid. It is approaching 10 years old by now and I am not sure if the previous owner changed the fluids. Is there any way to check before actually flushing the fluid? The car shifts fine
The second question is about a knocking sound in the back when I am turning right. It only happens above 50 mph. I suspect that it is the jack and space tire being so old that it is knocking on the cover ofthe trunk but I will test that out tomorrow. I also read on the forums that it might be the differential carrier bolts. Has any one else had this problem and any insight would be helpful
