  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I keep getting a maintenance reminder in my car, even though I don't have anything due for another 4000 miles. It gave me an option to reset, which I did (5000 miles or 365 days), but then a month later it pops up again with remaining days of '0'. Next, I turned off reminder under Settings->Convenience->Service Interval->Reminder, but again, I get a reminder after a few weeks. Am I doing something wrong or is this a software or connected services glitch?

I’m actually having the same issue and have for a while. Took it the dealership twice and had them “fix” it. Including most recently a few weeks ago. And the alert came back again today. I have no idea what’s going on.

It's a hot mess. From my review:

Email from selling dealer says it’s due now, but the IC popup says 83 days or 873 miles, and the infotainment screen Connected Services > Maintenance menu says 2,284 mi or 281 days left. The monthly vehicle health report that Genesis emails me said no maintenance is required even though I am 15 days overdue for service, and has numerous ICE-specific mentions. App says no maintenance needed for 9766 miles but that the recommended service interval is 5K miles, and I actually need it in 300 miles. The MyGenesis website (owners.genesis.com) says it’s due in 15K miles(!). Incessant days-to-service countdown in the IC that beeps every time I start the car can’t be cancelled (so I’ll have to endure about 360 beeps).

If it's a Connected Services reminder, you need to turn off maintenance reminders in the app.

Yikes, what a mess.

I'm getting the same or similar error. I get the attached nag screen every time I start the vehicle. How to make it go away??

You don't. It appears to be a different counter than what the infotainment screen tracks, which you CAN reset. Maybe the dealer can stop it.

Somehow I've managed to stop mine from nagging me - had the same problem for a bit, but no longer (for months now). Will try to see what I did.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I am driving a brand new G70 loaner. It is a 2025 that had 600 miles when I started driving it. It is telling me that service is due in -49 days! This is clearly a timer based on when the vehicle was built (it appears to have been an early '25).

I believe that one is under vehicle settings under setup. Should be close to the bottom, something about convenience service reminders.

Like I stated above, you have to turn off maintenance reminders in your Connected Services app (see Maintenance Alerts in the attached screenshot). My maintenance reminders in my GV70 settings are set at the intervals I choose, 8000 miles and 12 months. My GV70 was just serviced in August (anniversary date). The intervals in my GV70 settings were reset. But I just got the service due alert the other week. Why? Because the Connected Services maintenance reminders are set at every 5000 miles and I'm approaching 15,000 miles. I turned off the maintenance reminders in my Connected Services app and the reminder pop-ups have stopped.Screenshot_20251011_113732_Genesis.webp

Yeah, turning those off in the app solves one of the six problems I have with maintenance reminders.

Maybe the reminders are different for an EV, but I'm puzzled as to why that would be. Sure, an EV and ICE are totally different autos with totally different maintenance needs, but the logic behind the reminders is the same. Agree, that would be epically annoying.

I don’t see that screen anywhere in my GV60 app. What’s it nested under?

From the main menu, click the menu hamburger in the lower right, and then Security and Privacy, and then Notification Preferences.
