  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mapnsoft v14 on the Horizon

I bought my G70 12/26/20.....only have 620 miles on it 😭😭😭
I still get out and drive mine every few days while I work from home. Dallas has a "shelter in place" order, but the streets are busy. It's about the only safe way to get out and do something - go for a drive. Gas here is under $1.30 for top-tier

So according to the MapNSoft website the new update is supposed to be available today. However when you log in, put in your vehicle information and hit search, it does nothing. Anybody gotten the update yet? There is also nothing on the website for what changes were made.

If they are west coast they may still be home having breakfast.

Whoops, may be a problem there. I have an account listed but it's forgotten my vehicle and won't let me find it.

You're stuck on this page, right? When I click search, it seems like the page just refreshes with the same information I input. Might wait until July anyways since I probably won't be going many places for the next couple months.😅

I have that exact same page/experience too. I imagine it might be updated later on today if they stay true to April 20th.

Yea maybe by then they can get the bugs out of the new web site

Looks like the update is now delayed to Apr 27.

I got the same message. You know, I'm one to give a fair bit of latitude but this software update process really seems to lack professionalism. After they already pushed the date back, they decide to push it out again on the release date?

With things the way they are now, who knows? Maybe the guy to do the update is working from home and his cable went out. A lot of things lack professionalism right now but for the most part, people are trying.

Meantime, I'm not going anywhere anyway.

It's not just this delay or even this time... It's a pattern. I'm a technology person and we are in one of the best positions to maintain our work without interruption. Besides, you don't produce a major update for a premium brand and finish it up on the last day. The cable going out doesn't pass the sniff test. Any issues should have been identified a long time ago, not release day.

Anyways, maybe 14 will be worth the wait!

Why would you change your web site 2 days before you release the update?

No one here knows that.

I do know that many companies are having delays and support problems the past few weeks. i encountered some myself and have seen many issues on the news about delays, While nice that many people can work from home, there are still many issues that seem to need a person at their usual physical position.

Besides, of course you update your website when you do a release. All changes should go together. This isn't a business critical site. Limit the work of your Ops team to one move - that's good IT management.

And here's the thing, we can still log in so chances are they just need to redeploy the backups of the database.
