The UBS method might be a little easier to deal with. The instructions look straight forward.

If it's true, like the idea of the 2021's getting updates over wifi.. that would be nice.

Got a problem!!! Evidently my map card is not being read by the system. After I install it, the system keeps telling me "navigation is currently unavailable. Please check the SD card"!

Gotta wait till 0900 my time to contact California to trouble shoot!!

Update went smoothly for me.

@Hueydriver - mine said that too after I put in the new SD card. The next step was to go into the System Info app and click the update button.

The SD card method took about 20 mins or so to fully install.

Couldn’t do that since screen froze! Disconnect battery for 1 hr and now is loading ok. Will advise as soon as it is complete!

Can the update be done while you drive the car, or must you be stopped while it's loading?

Seconded, I always do it on the drive to work. No music or camera possible during the update.

Have you noticed the Bluetooth to cell phone still works during that time. I certainly didn't expect that.

Got my update on Friday. Installed with no issues. The Nav UI looks cleaner. Nature sounds is interesting. Not sure when I would use that. I still wish they would give us a UI update that is more specific to Genesis and doesn't look like Hyundai/Kia.
