So this was completely unexpected but awesome. I was impatient and ordered the new update on the 25th when the system was live, but before they had the bill to Genesis option. I paid 31 something USD for the card and standard shipping. I got the card today and installed with no issues on my 2019 G70. I saw that they later added the option to bill to Genesis but I wasn’t that upset since I was impatient and didn’t think anything more about it.

Well.. I just checked my email and saw that I had a refund from Hyundai motors for the cost of the map update. That was completely unexpected and surprising but shows me that they are serious about making their customers happy. Good job Genesis I’m impressed.

You have a choice of background colors. I chose "milk" the lightest. The auto zoom works well and gives a good view when you get close to the next turn.

What I don't get is the sounds and scenes that come with it. I really don't need Calming Waves when I'm doing 80 on the interstate. The Warm Fireplace may be nice if I was a teenager like when we parked at the airport to make out on Saturday night. They could replace Johnny Mathis.

I received mine in the mail yesterday.
Interestingly enough. Just got a refund from Hyundai Motor for my Genesis but not the wife's 2020 Santa Fe (eh it's a Hyundai and it ain't free)
I attached two pictures for the demonstration of purchasing one similar product for two different cars.
The Genesis comes with the hard case whereas the Hyundai comes with a cheap looking clear plastic. I'd call it Premium vs Economy.
It won't matter both will go to the recycle can once I'm through with the installation.

I did the same thing and paid for mine right away. I also got an email this morning that my purchase was refunded. I was pleasantly surprised!

On another note I tried out my thumb drive for music this morning. They really cleaned up the interface for that. It looks WAY better. Much cleaner and simpler. I haven't tried Android Auto yet. I may do that on the way home from work today.

I wonder how difficult it would be to edit in some more appropriate sounds, like the sounds of squealing tires and car crashes...

Going through Georgia I never go more than 4 mph over the posted speed. I don't think I ever went through there and did not see speeders pulled over at least on I95. Less so on I75

We have one of the greatest collections of stupid people anywhere in the country. And most of them are on the road around 5:00 pm. Calming anything is highly beneficial driving in that!

Calming may be OK but I don't want to be put to sleep.
Every section of 95 has a different personality but yeah, it ranges from aggressive to stupid along the way.

I moved to the metro DC area from Atlanta. 15-20 years ago, Atlanta was the fastest driving major metro area in the country. People would go 75-80 mph bumper to bumper. Average speed in a 55 zone was 77. It was insane. And don't even get me started on SR 400 (the Alpharetta Autobahn). Used to be ranked one of the fastest roads in the world. You were going zero, or you were going 100. Very little in-between.

Map looks a lot cleaner. Hoping it shows the road names better, I'll let it guide me here in a bit.

I like the new USB media display on home.

A few other things here and there have been recolored or moved around.

Seems nicer.... Still no way to move the home tiles though.

Just updated today. Went smoothly. But now I don’t get my phone battery level or signal strength on the display anymore...

50 minutes for a successful update, however, check to see if you fully updated. After reboot, I looked to see if I had most current update, nope. Updated again, but it was a much shorter one.
