  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mapnsoft v15 Releasing April 19, 2021

Update.genesis.com has update starting today.

Mapnsoft will have order availability starting on the 19th I believe.

They really need to consider offering different skins. Our 2021 Santa Fe has this same look for the radio. I struggle to understand why Hyundai is going all in with this look as I think it looks terrible. I'd like to do an update on my 2019 to get the latest maps but between this crap and the way they ruined saved stations/presets I guess I'm stuck using the original software and maps.

These cars are state of the art in 202x who wants this 1950s look on the screen? I'm not usually too fussy about this stuff but I find this perplexing.

Totally agree with you. This look really surprised me that this is what they're going for. I really liked the 2022 G70 UI and thought we were getting something like that but instead we got weird looking nixie tubes...for some reason.

Does anyone know what the following update found on update.genesis.com is for? Looks like it has to be installed via USB, but the software version on my 2019 G70 appears to be ahead of what is shown through there.

I don't see any historical references or any compatibility to a Genesis automobile. It was great technology in 1955 but just seems out of place here.

I agree with the skins idea. I like the new retro look better than what was there before, but understand why some don't. It would be nice to have some choices.

How long did it take to upload the map updates in the car?

Mine took 40 minutes. Of course, here in the tropical climate we move a bit slower than you guys near the North Pole.
Ahem.....not to mention that our Polar Bears eat Alligators for lunch!

I'll trade a slower install for living in Florida! Is that an invite? :)
