  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2015 3.8 AWD sedan and the mapping has never been current. A state hwy near me was built before the car was built is not even on the map. I’m driving through a field according to the map when I drive it daily. I’m wondering what other roads nationwide aren’t present and how much longer trips would be if certain actual current roads were updated. The dealership says an update run $200 and I’m curious if that will actually update the road for sure or not. Is there a way for the owner to update without going through the dealership and spending $200 for a maybe fix or maybe not ?

You could post the road and maybe a picture of your current screen and maybe someone who check their current map and post a reply.

There is no workaround other than buying the software from the mapnsoft site. But as @johnny3fingers said, it is only $145 to install yourself.
