  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey Guys,
I have a 2019 G70 3.3t AWD

I am looking to purchase a spare TCU so I can tune it. My stock part number is 95441-4J620, does my spare 100% have to match that? Or can it come close?
Ive heard mixed answers. But I ordered a 95441-4G040, installed it and my car did not start.
Sent that one back out, and I am now looking at a 95441-4J600 for double the price of the last one I bought🤦🏽‍♂️ Someone please save me the trouble of test and trial and lmk if it will work with my car.

I’m curious to know this aswell

I did the test n trial...
Sent back 2 TCU's to find this out lol
Does not have to match fully, but I believe it has to match until at least the first 2 numbers/letters in the second segment of the part number. For example, my stock one was 95441-4J620 (branded Hyundai), and I am now running 95441-4J....(off of a stinger...branded Kia, Tork tuned)

Reviving this.

Does anyone know if a g80 or g90 TCU will work in the G70?
