  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys. Haven't been on this forum for awhile. I just painted my stock exhaust tips, mufflers, pipes and rear differential in high heat matte black. Looking for feedback please. I have found a clear gloss high heat enamel to cover the matte finish if I decide to make them glossy.
Keep matte or go glossy?

Would anyone care to provide feedback on how this looks or if I should keep Matte finish or go glossy? Thanks.

I think shinny is a better alternative because the matte looks a little like soot I have to clean off the ends periodically. No offense of course just an opinion.

I agree with Ernie, black but glossy would be a much better look. The muffler could remain matte black, which would offset the gloss.
