  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm sure I'm late to the party on this one, but, if no one has ever tried Meguiar's Back to Black, give it a try. It's great for the pillars between the front and rear doors, also very good for the rubber (?) weather stripping but be careful as you're likely to get some product on your paint and windows and will need to clean those accordingly.

However, I feel it's worth the effort. It's a major difference from dark gray to very black!

Edit:
I made a really simple observation about how to "not" get product on your side windows......... just put the windows down first!! Silly me, takes me a little time these days to figure out simplest of things!

I have used Amorall (or the Meguiar's equivalent) and those work well also on those parts. Looks like Maguire's Ultimate Black has a UV blocker like the regular vinyl restorer products, so it should work well.

Maybe a more interesting question is Maguire's Black Wax and White Wax (for black and white painted cars respectively). I have a silver Genesis, but I am suspect a lot of people with black or white Genesis would be interested in how well these new waxes work on their paint.
