  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Might sell the R-Spec

I already own the M6 so it's a done deal. I understand that BMW's can be money pits. I've owned a few.

I may keep my R-Spec as my daily driver.

Cool cars; I personally can't afford it. Unless I sell a kidney or something.

^^^^

Sold 2012 4.6 to CarMax for 26K. Right between private and trade in. Also, willing to bet you got a great discount when buying so I'm figuring they know that too.

CarMax offer me 29k for my spotless Rspec (17k miles) back in Nov of last year. No way!
Found a dealer with the car I wanted and they gave me 31k, plus a good price on the G37 I wanted.

2012 R-Spec in SoCal. 17K miles. Like brand new.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I love the car but ran across a 2006 M6 with 37K mile for a smokin' deal.

Mine is a 2012 with 17K miles. I submitted to Auto Trader Buys and got a offer of $21.5k .. WTH is with that?

All of the R-Specs in my area (SoCal) are listed for $32K or more.

Any thoughts about the value of my car??

Thanks
John

I think you are making a big mistake. The Genesis is a far superior car. You would realize this after buying the M6.

With regard to reliability your probably right. With regard to "fun to drive" factor, there isn't a comparison. I have the M6 for close to 2 months and love it. I love my R-Spec too.

Hated to say good bye but I did. New owner should be very happy.

John
