  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My fiance recently purchased a used 2013 genesis coupe 2.0t. I was looking at the brakes today and noticed that only 3 of the four calipers were the red brembos. The front drivers and rear passenger have the larger size caliper (front sized) while the front passenger has a smaller sized brembo(looks like rear sized one) then the rear drivers is a plain caliper. Even more strange is that the car is not an R-spec so I don't believe it even came with brembos? I am trying to figure out what should be where and what I need to do to complete the set. Are the front and rear set interchangeable where i can swap the larger rear passenger with the small front on the same side and then find a rear caliper for the drivers? Thank you for the help this is my first time playing with a Hyundai.

Any chance they are just those cheesy caliper covers?
Take pics of them so we can help.

Mods, you may want to move this to the coupe forum. He may get better help there.

Pictures please.

You are exactly right. I didn't know those things even existed until I was looking on eBay for replacement calipers. As soon as I saw them I knew that's what it had to be. I have since removed them! Thanks for the replies I didn't think this post would see the light of day.
