  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello, the system in the car I recently bought has very little bass.
Does anyone know of modifications made by owners to improve this?

If it's like my '15 sedan it's easy, but not the best. You have to tap the line level leads from the stock amp to the sub. I used an AudioControl LCQ-1 (Complete overkill, but it was in my previous car) to feed an Alpine amp which drives a JL Audio sub. The problem I find is the trunk is so well insulated the bass is not as loud as I would like. It helps to leave the trunk passthru door open.

Thank you. I saw that somebody makes a sub that fits under your seat.

Under which seat? There is almost no room to put anything that would be effective.

It would go under the drivers but I hadn't checked if there was adequate space.
