On my 2015 5.0 in Montecito Blue, the paint is fading on the tops of all 4 door handles. A body shop quoted me over $600 to repaint the handles as they said they had to take each door apart to properly repaint them.
Also, the paint is chipping off all 4 of my wheels. I'm guessing it would be $100-200 to refinish each of them as well.
Has anyone had either of these issues? I have the CarMax MaxCare warranty, but it doesn't cover cosmetic issues like this. Would I have any luck getting a Hyundai dealership to cover something like this even though the car is out of warranty there? The rest of the paint looks fine, it's just the tops of these door handles so it seems like some kind of defect to me.
Really don't want to pay over $1,000 to fix these since it's really not affecting anything other than aesthetics, but still it bugs me.
