Monthly vehicle report - - accurate?

My car was hit head on in the front while I was stopped. Car is driveable, however the cruise control and the AEB does not work as the front sensor was hit. I get a warning on the dash telling me it does not work. Monday of last week I took the car to the body shop. That same day is the day I get my monthly report. It says everything is OK, including the cruise control. I have to conclude from the facts that the report is useless.

Sure hope my car is done soon. I have a rental, but it is not a Genesis. I don't like driving an SUV when I can have a really nice car.

I hit an opossum about 6 months ago in my 2014 R-Spec that took out the the SCC radar; Vehicle report said all is fine. $6,000 of repairs and the SCC still doesn't work correctly from the body shop. Had to take it to a dealer to properly re-program. Funny thing is my 2014 ACC worked better than my 2015 5.0 Ultimate.

Thanks, I wasn't even moving, but the driver of the other car was moving in her car and in her drugged head. She drove across a lawn and sidewalk to get to me.

That’s pretty bad! She must have thought you had a target on your car. Sorry for your misfortune.

I was stopped at a light, 3rd car back. Light changed and the first two cars were able to get out of the way. She took off in reverse around the corner and then came flying back. Police took her away in handcuffs. At least she had insurance.

Yeah, no injury. When you get hit in a Genesis you hardly feel it.

Not so sure about that Ed, I was rear ended by a bimbo who said her brakes failed smacked into the suv behind me pushing him into me ,more likely was texting her boyfriend! Anyways I couldn’t hardly turn my head left nor right for the better part of 2 weeks!! Lol.....Best part was only about 2 grand worth of damage to my baby.

I think its BS! I just pulled the report and it says I drive 2017 Genesis G80 5.0 Ultimate RWD !!! hahaha

I'm fine and the car looks like new. They detailed it inside and out. There us a tiny paint bubble on the hood. You would probably not see it, but since it is my car it looks like Mount Everest. I'm going to take it back for touch up.

Mine constantly sez my electronic emergency brake is not working correctly ,service writer with me sitting beside him at my dealership checked it out and said it was working just fine and it’s the program that’s screwed up.

I'll find out when I get the Sep monthly report. My parking sensors are not working and are just throwing an error (dealer visit tomorrow). I have a feeling my report won't show the issue.
