MP3 player

I have a Samsung Mythic and tried to conect it to the MP3 player using the USB conector but all I get is an error message. Has anyone had the same problem and been able to solve it?

You can not use the USB for this. You have to use the 3.5mm on your Samsung head phone input to the input on the Genesis.
It's a few dollars at Radio Shack.

I had also asked that question to Hyunday and after a few weeks I got this answer I'd like to share with you all:

Thank you for contacting Hyundai Motor America. We are sorry for any inconvenience related to the USB connection in your vehicle.

We believe this is a compatibility issue. Hyundai Motor America has not tested or approved brands other than the Apple iPOD. The wide flat docking connector is thought to be unique to the Apple iPod brand of player and not compatible with other players. There are too many suppliers of MP3 units for HMA to test and evaluate each. Most MP3 players use a 3.5mm (1/8 inch) Audio Out jack for headphones. With the proper connector cable from a local electronics store, this may play music, books, or podcasts through the vehicle speakers.
