  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

In the last week or so, I've been getting intermittent dash warnings regarding Check AEB. Sometimes it will come on immediately after I start the car, then go out on the next key cycle. Yesterday, in addition to that, I had the Check TMPS warning show up as well...

My working theory is that now in that in the last couple of months, I've been working a telecommute job & the car hasn't been driven very much - maybe 10 mi a week. Are these possibly signs of a weak/dying battery? Otherwise, the car starts & performs fine.

Thoughts?

Look up "Check PSB" on this forum - not sure if you're experiencing the same issue, but it was an inexpensive fix.

Kinda fail to see how that's related... But I'm all for the inexpensive fix.

Recently faced similar behaviour this winter. First started with Check AEB. Over time more and more lights would pop up. Eventually had Check AEB, ABS, TPMS, AWD, and Power Steering. Power steering was the strangest of all, especially so as it became disabled. Could clear the codes but would come back - sometimes instantly, other times after a few hours or even next day. At one point the issue completely disappeared for a week or so until coming back.

Turned out to be a faulty wheel speed/ABS sensor - rear right side in my case. Replaced it and no more issues.

That was kinda my theory - at the beginning the AEB warning was sporadic. If it was off @ startup, it would reappear after the car started moving...
