  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Well, first of all, a humble thank you to everyone in this forum. I lurked here for a few months before purchasing my 2013 R-Spec about 2 weeks ago. It's everything I've dreamed about and more. I love this car.

I just finished de-badging the trunk, wheels, and Genesis 5.0 (left the R-spec badge). I re-badged the trunk and wheels with the wing logo. (Definitely made some tiny nicks on the rim..even with advice, those were hard to pop off without nicking).

Next up, I plan on converting the cigarette lighter into a USB charger. Any other suggestions?

Why convert the cigarette lighter into a USB charger? You could just get a flush fitting 12V car to USB charger. Just be sure to get one that's 2A rated so you can fast charger your phone or iPad.

Link to one on Amazon...

Also make sure you can get it back out after you put it in. Had a cheap $1.99 one get stuck in my wife's car when one of the clips bent and snagged on the inside barrel of the socket... PITA to remove.

Hah:) Ya, the one I linked to...the chrome ring is actually a handle so you can pull it out.

Nuthin' that a drill/bit, Easy-out, and vise grips couldn't handle.
By the way, anyone in need of watch repair? I'm your guy.
