Yep the front plates detract from the awesome front end. Unfortunately I was once pulled over and ticketed in my old car.

Unfortunately my car came with no bracket, or previous holes. In WI front licenses are required.

Would you mind taking a pic of the bracket that was on your car? I can't find a North American bracket part number anywhere. Ordered a Euro bracket by mistake and I think that would look silly....

They are available from the dealer, but they aren't cheap. List on it is $114.39 and $1.21 per screw.

3 options on the bracket. Imagine the description on the first 2 are related to the color of grille maybe?

86519-B1010 - silver
86519-B1210 - black & chrome
86519-B1410 - black & chrome w/smart cruise control

screws are 86356-B1000

Give your dealer your VIN and they can tell you exactly.

My bracket was purchased in Amazon. Under search type in Genesis license plate holder. It's a nice Chrome piece with screws that says Genesis. It's was 20 dollars.

My dealer use a plain black plastic one. Probably worth 5 bucks tops. The ones you describe may be more sophisticated. I'd do some more checking around. I won't need mine after October if you can wait.

Nope. These are the black plastic ones. The descriptions are what I imagine is for the different types of grilles. I have the same descriptions for them as well. I've seen Hyundai have some crazy markups before like this, so it doesn't surprise me.
