My Black Genesis with Tint, Wings, and Chrome Side Molding!!

Hey everyone,

Here are some pics of my Black on Black Genesis with Wings on front and back and also with chrome side molding. Also, I tinted windows at the legal limit of 35%. I bought the molding from KAI for $159 and had a local dealer install. The chrome molding makes a huge difference!!!!!

Looks really nice!. Did the dealer charge for the molding install? So far we have one for free and one for $30.

I paid $75. I bought the car at a dealer in Alabama, but I live in Atlanta, so I went to a dealer here in Atlanta. I'm sure had I bought the car at this dealer in Atlanta it would have been cheaper or free. I was going to do it myself, but then didn't want to take a chance on messing anything up.

Looks great, luckfam, and it gives me a preview of what I can look forward to when I get the chrome strips and rear emblem installed on my Blk/Blk car next week. I tinted my windows, too, and I think the contrast between the black paint and darkened windows versus the stock chrome around the windows and the door handles plus the new strips will look fantastic. I'm also installing the LED kits for the trunk and rear license, which should be interesting. Thanks for the photos.

Regarding the chrome molding...can you photo the strip @ the door jamb (door open, of course), looking down? I'm curious to see if there's any interface between the inside and outside part. I think they look nice.

I really do like the chrome side molding! Those pictures aren't the greatest so I'm sure it looks much better in person. Nice mods! I bet your car turns a lot of heads...

hey guys, just a quick question.. how much is the approx cost of tinting the genesis? mine came without, not even for privacy glass on the rear windows and back seats.. so i could canvas and know how much everyone is paying and if i have a nice deal.. thanks!

I paid 225 for my tints, more then i was willing to spend, 4 windows and the back. It does make a huge difference. I still want to get the side chrome molding and the illuminated door sills but since it's a lease i'm not sure i want to put all that into the car. I know it will looks good though so we'll see

I am in Atlanta too and have the same mods in my Black Gennie. Mine is a Premium plus though. I think you have a Tech package one. Where did you get the car from?
My experience with Jim Ellis has been great.And get the wheel inserts too, makes a big difference in the look.
I will bump into you someday...may be. I have been noticing more and more genesis in Atlanta these days
