Took my G70 to the dealer I purchased the vehicle from (Malloy Hyundai/Genesis, Woodbridge, VA) yesterday, for it's first 6000 mile service. I had been concerned about this based on the several negative experiences (no loaner, no valet, poor service, etc.) other owners have posted on this forum. I had received an email from this dealer last week asking if I wanted to schedule service online, so I followed the link and everything went smoothly until it asked if I was going to drop it off and wait at the dealer, or if I needed to use their shuttle. No option to select valet service or a loaner, so I then tried to schedule via the Genesis connected service app, but it gave me an error saying that I could not do it through the app, but that I would need to call the dealer.
So I called the dealer to schedule and the first thing the rep asked me was if I wanted to use the valet service (good sign) I told him no, that I wanted a loaner vehicle, because they are right on my way to work. He mentioned that they only had two Genesis loaners and he needed to check availability. A minute later he told me they would have one available
The dealer called me later that afternoon to pick up my vehicle and told me they had confirmed the brake issue I reported, and that they turned the rotors. Upon driving the car home I start testing the brakes only to find out that the shuddering is ever worse than before. There is no way that they could have test drove it after whatever they did to the brakes (if anything), so I called the service department first thing this morning to report the problem and asked to drop it off tomorrow morning. Now I already do not trust this service department if they cannot get a break job done right the first time, but they are by far the most convenient location for me. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow.

(another good sign)
. He got me scheduled to drop off my car the next morning. When I arrived the next morning everything went smoothly and they had a G70 2.0 loaner waiting for me. I told them to also inspect the brakes because starting at about 3500 miles I started experiencing significant shuddering and noise when breaking. This seems to be a fairly common problem with these vehicles, and Kia Stingers, based on other posts on this forum. The dealer called me later that afternoon to pick up my vehicle and told me they had confirmed the brake issue I reported, and that they turned the rotors.
