  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just bought a 2012 Genesis Sedan, premium/tech package. I just have a few questions and I would greatly appreciate it any assistance; is there an app like in the Google Play store, That will allow me to remote start the Genesis? I understand there is Bluetooth for phone calls but is there a way to connect Bluetooth for music, If so, how do you do that? I bought the car with slight damage on the front left under the headlight, It's just this seems to be cosmetic damage except for the fact that the sensor illuminates green and flashes along with an audible tone every so often so obviously the sensor was damaged, I am just curious if anybody could tell me about how much this is to replace (the sensor) And also will the emergency braking system still operate with this damage and the sensor not functioning properly? My AFLS light stays on time, I have a fog light out so I'm guessing why the AFLS light stays on all the time? Is that correct? Okay last one... I understand it has TPMS and a couple different lights that will illuminate if you have a low tire or problem with the system but is there actual readouts for each individual tire for PSI? I believe I have looked through all the menus that I know of and I'm not able to find anything with a actual readout showing on the dash what the PSI is in each tire. Again, any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Thank you ✌🏼

There is the Hyundai BlueLink app, but you have to pay an annual fee to use it. Your older modem may not be capable since 2G shut down. I'd just get an aftermarket remote installed. There are a few good ones out there and they are faster and very reliable. I had CompuStar in my last car and would do it again.

It says posted 9 minutes ago but this is a duplicate of an earlier post except without the graphics. .
No app for remote start, you have a 3G modem. Aftermarket remote.

Yes, I posted it in the wrong forum the first time and wasn't able to delete it. I know that Bluelink is not compatible with the 2012 Genesis but was just asking if anyone had found a 3rd party app that would work, there are several posts about being able to use other apps, but it's all AI bs.

No.

You buy this aftermarket dongle that plugs into the dual slot in the center console, then connect bluetooth to it. No app, no features, no frills, no in-car control other than volume, but you can play audio from your phone via BT over the car audio system:

is there actual readouts for each individual tire for PSI?
No

For remote start, I would get a compustar system installed with DroneMobile. Problem is it's gonna be pricey, probably upwards of $500 depending on where you get it installed.

Have one in my 2015 2nd gen sedan and it works really well.
