  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello all …

My husband recently passed away and I was going to sell his 2013 R Spec until I started driving it. Wow, what a fun car. So I am keeping it and hope I can use this forum when problems arise (I can’t linked my Bluetooth) and when dash lights randomly come on. I did get the oil changed and the guy said the filter is in a wonky place but they got it done.

My husband maintained the car great and it has 93K miles on it. How many miles will I likely get out of this vehicle?
Thanks!

Sorry for your loss.

It is best to stick with your Hyundai dealer for your service issues, especially if they got on well with your husband. This assumes that he trusted the dealer.

I’m sure the dealer would be happy to assist you with Bluetooth connection questions too if you explain your situation to them. I’d also recommend test driving a new vehicle and then asking the salesperson to help you restore your Bluetooth connection. 🥴

Very sorry to hear about your husband. It's nice to hear you're going to keep his car. I'm glad you found us. This is a great place to help maintain the Genesis...
