Honestly, i think the G80 suffers from the experience aspect. From my purchase to service i am continuously left wanting more. The roof cracking is not taken seriously and i am left debating just ttrading the car despite taking the hit in less than 3 years of ownership. I have had to chase the dealer for my wherls which started showing improper curing in the paint and had to go to corporate just for a repaint. The wheels co tinue to have issues but at this price point I feel let down by the brand. I owned a Hyundai Genesis Sedan from 2011 and never had such quality issues. Ive left my feedback on surveys with no follow up. So ive been frustrated that despite spending my time to give feedback it's obviously not taken seriously.
I seriously considered purchashing other Genesis brand models but reconsidered after the issues. My wife is not impressed with a 60k plus car having these issues in the first place but the lack of empathy from the dealer or brand.
Just my honest opinion. The actual car is superb. Love everything about the chassis and drive. Maybe better fuel efficiency if possible to keep things competitive.
