My indie mechanic is great for brakes and such, but when it comes to diagnosing a cam code on my 2015 Genesis V6 he is useless. Also recently got a service TPMS system which I’m sure he will be clueless about.
Should I just bite the bullet and bring it in to the dealer? What kind of money might I be looking at? The cam code seems to come and go. The check engine light is usually not on for very long. I’m not noticing any rough idle at all. My mileage is about 13.7 MPG but it’s all local driving,
