  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I gotta thank you guys for being such a great resource, and being an encouragement to keep putting up with my dealer. With the help of this forum and Circle A from r_spec, I'm pleased to present my 2020 G70 3.3T sport!

Welcome!

Looks amazing! Enjoy your new car!

Yeah! The Seville Silver looks pretty dang good. You got yourself a sweet car.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Very nice! Enjoy.

Thanks, all. The Seville Silver was actually not even on my radar... I went to the dealer for an Adriatic Blue. I found out that the car on their lot has over 100 miles on it, has been on the lot for a few months, and up close, the silver really wins out with the black sport wheels! This car has 20 miles on it, wasn't even PDI'd and I liked the color. Might have been a last minute change, but it was a no-brainer, once I saw the silver in person!

Another initiate via "R_Spec"!! Congrats on your purchase!
Yeah, he was awesome to work with. Gave him a bit of a tip to pay it forward. He does a great service for this forum!

Sorry for the pointless bump, but this car is amazing... The gas mileage is not as bad as I was expecting (24 mpg average on 87 and not exactly babying it, lol), the interior is still breathtaking every time I get into the car, and the performance is just unreal (although I still yearn for a manual, at times). Amazing car, and not just for the price.

I bought LEDs for rear turn and reverse (kinda ridiculous to have incandescents on a luxury car in 2020) and I'm going in for a Gyeon ceramic coating this weekend. Wanted to splurge on Xpel but my god is that stuff expensive... I'd rather just get the bumper repainted, in the future.

An average of 24 mpg on a 3.3t? Sounds like that's mostly highway driving. I've averaged close to 30 mpg when driving on the highway but city driving just wrecks those numbers especially if you also have a heavy right foot.

Congrats on the new car, btw! Mine is almost a year old and I'm still as excited about it as I was when I first brought it home.

Not gonna lie, my commute is 75% highway with barely any traffic, but driving in town through the burbs is the other 25%, which definitely brings it down. I bet I could get 27 or 28 if I lived closer to the highway. Not flooring it from the on ramps would help, too:LOL:

has anyone upgraded their 3.3t sport to the dynamic brake pads
