  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My poor R-Spec is now white. No longer Titanium Grey. I guess it is now slower as well lol. The car is covered in salt, and nothing I can do about it. Temps are in the negaive teens F with windchills in the -30s F. Too cold to wash the car cause door locks will freeze, even in my garage, and by the time I come home from the car wash, the car would have been covered by salt anyhow:mad:

As some would say... Pics or it didn't happen?

Never the less sorry to hear that, if it makes you feel any better, it is even freezing down here as well (in the SE... BBbbbrrr.....)...

Times like these.. I am thankful for the remote start...

I used to live in Cleveland, so I understand about so much salt on the car you can't even open the door without getting salt all over your hands! That's part of the reason I live in North Carolina now. :-)
(Although it *is* supposed to get down to 10F tomorrow morning.)

It got very cold down here in Phoenix over Christmas too. I think we hit freezing twice. Had to turn on the heat in the house overnight.....twice. Wifey even turned on the seat heater in the Genny on the way back from the hockey game. :D

@Denny
It got little bit down over night, I turned the A/C off :D .... 36F in the middle of Nevada on hwy. I-80

Windchill last night was -40:eek:

Absolutely insane weather temperature
I used to live in NH, New England area for years but never experienced something like what you get up there.
I hope you don't have to drive to work in that kind of condition.

I can relate CLASSRSPEC. I went to school in Ottawa quite a few years ago and remember those winters and salt stains, both on car and pant legs well. We now split our time between Victoria ,rainy but warmish and Edmonton where it is even colder than Ottawa! Couple of years ago we hit -50C. -20 with no wind and sunny is considered a really nice day.
My RSPEC will bask in the warmth of Vancouver Island while my Maxima braves the frigid North. Thank God these Hyundai's don't rust like the old Pony's!

Not really! My car in the warmth and sunshine with its original tires and wheels would definitely make me feel better.

Keeps snowing, so no pics, and very frosty so no pics, but Mr. D>, I've got you beat

Heading down to the sunshine state for a few weeks, so b4r I go, I have the car washed, and let it dry out in the garage while I away, so now continuous salt wear on my paint

Thats it! I wanna move to Florida!!!
