My sub/amp install

Very easy to do with a little electrical and audio knowledge.

10" alpine type-r 2omh dvc
jl audio xd600/1
pac 50a loc
8 gauge wiring kit

Wasnt looking for over the top booming bass but rather something to compliment the stock system without going overboard. I think I accomplished my goal but will probably be upgrading the sub to a JL 10w6.

Box fits snug in the corner and stays in place with just a little velcro on the bottom of the box.


Figured this was the best way to get some of those waves into the cabin without having to compensate and turn the gain up. Still need to add a screen to the hole to make it look cleaner.

Might be replacing this loc with the audiocontrol lc2i in the future but as it stands now, this one works great


Amp tucked under the rear liner. No problems with overheating




Its very convenient to have the battery in the truck. Less wiring and 8 gauge wire is more then enough considering the distance to the amp is only 4 feet


Not pictured but the remote line is run up the driver side fuse box

Just fitting a sub in trunk now.

Did you have any problems with pass thru panel in center of rear seat rattling?

How much difference did it make cutting a hole in the rear deck to get sound thru the stock sub location?
