  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey -

I know it's a hot topic regarding the Winged Wheel, airbag or Badge, but I went Badge for now - I like it, I think it works with my interior. I agree when I got the Badge and the thick tape piece, it was confusing for a minute, but I figured it out. Some directions wouldn't have hurt, though.

I had the same experience. Don't know why they don't put some instructions in. That said, I am very pleased with mine. I don't understand why anyone would opt to change the air bag. I have been called a prefectionist all my life and the stick on badge suits me.

I just got my badge for the steering wheel and the additonal piece of 3M tape. Any suggesstion on best install practices??

Clean area and don't press too hard in the middle when applying or it might deform. Additional piece of 3M tape is not required.

I have the same one. Just use alcohol prior to placing into place. Did it last October on my 2012 and still looks fine.

How 'bout a couple more registration/emission stickers on the windshield Texas

Same badge on my wheel and still looks like the day it was applied a year ago.

Same as mine and honestly I think it is a waste to go with the KDM airbag version. As for install, I never used the second piece of sticky tape either. Just clean with alcohol and stick it over the lazy H. Did it to my 2010 4.6 and now on my Rspec. Sticks like it was factory.

So, you don't remove the "H" logo first? Just stick this on top of the "H"?

Does the "H" badge not come off, or has it just not been tried?

If you remove the "H" you will than dent the new badge because there is nothing underneath it for support when you push it on to stick.

I pressed mine on gently and it sticks just fine

Thx. That pic you supplied appears to be for a KDM airbag, rather than the oval stick-on I have.

I saw a white Genesis today, still had the H badges on it but had a flying swan hood ornament like kids used to put on their 40 Fords.
