  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Mysterious Button

Can you see the attached thumbnail on you mobile device with the desktop view? I can’t on my iPhone. I am sure it is something obvious. Right now it seems you have to click on the post and then click again on view unread. I must be doing it wrong.

Yes. I attached two images of my 12" Android tablet with the second page of this thread loaded in Firefox.

Yea! I forgot about that. Firefox on Android has check box that says: "Request desktop site". Looks 1000 times better than mobile version on 7-9" tablet.

Well, you need to click on the "last post" arrow image.

It is circled in red in my image attachment.

I could view the thumbnail on my iPad.

Nope, that is not what that icon does. The double right arrow means go to the end, in this case the LAST post. It may not necessarily be the first unread post if the are multiple unread posts. If there are it is up to you to go back post by post to figure out what is the FIRST unread post (unless you like reading posts backwards, which makes no sense). It just such a difficult site to use compared to the vast majority. Go take a look at the Club Lexus site. Not perfect but much better.

The really odd thing is the mobile page DOES have a go to the FIRST unread post button. Go figure.

So consider yourself educated and best of luck to all the mobile users on this site who are looking for some none existent functionality.

OMG... OP just email me the pic and I'll post it ASAP. I'm all curious about what he's typing about and not what this thread has turned to. My mom turned 70 today and shes on he 4th Samsung Galaxy phone and uses it well. OK my point is who cares. I came in this thread not to read all this crap. I get it. We all do. But rather than bash him, ask which phone he/she has and then give step-by-step instructions on what to do.

I have a 2012 5.0 and noticed a mysterious button on the left side underpart of the dash, about even with the fuse box. Any ideas as to what this might be??? The wiring disappears under the dash.

It is not OEM . Someone added it for some type of aftermarket device.

That's...not...factory... at all.
Are you able at all to see where the wires go?

I'd venture a guess that it is some sort of feature for an aftermarket alarm, but I don't know what function it would serve in that respect.

ALL switches are are marked. There's the Parking Assist, the LSWS system, and the ESC (traction control) swtich.
Below those are the auto hold and parking break. Nothing else. So.....
