Nav and main screen help

I like to drive with the split screen so the radio stations are showing and what song is on as well as the map display on the far right. But every time we get back in the car and even though we confirm who is driving when prompted it goes back to the home screen with just time and what looks like the sky photo. I have to go through the prompts and reset it back to split screen every time. It's a bit of a pain doing this every time.
The other thing is the Nav system, if you use voice to find an address it finds the address ok but then it tells us that there isn't enough time to calculate it because we are too close to the destination, even when we are hours away from the address selected. If we enter the address manually it's ok, only when we use voice. Problem is I have to stop the car to enter the address. This has happened several times and we have never been able to use voice commands for nav destinations.
Are we doing something wrong or is there a setting we are missing?
Other than that the car is great, we love it.

I’m not sure, but have you set the memory after you get the screen the way you want it? That’s the only thing I can think of. I’m always in split screen as well and it always come on that way.

Thanks, I didn't see a save option but I'll try that this weekend, wife drives the car during the week, I get to drive weekends. LOL
