  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Picked up car after 6 weeks in shop and on the ride home noticed that the green NAV light was on and showing on the dash and HUD.

BUT, i wasnt using the nav system at the time. I havent checked all the settings, but have found a few that were changed despite the fact that the dealer said none were changed. Would the Highway Auto Speed Change option cause the NAV light to show on in the HUD and dash? No. 9….

I seems to me that you were using cruise control, and the car was recognizing the speed limit signs. If you set the cruise control to the posted limit, the car will accelerate or decelerate to match the speed limit. I just think the green indicator was telling you that the system is ready. It may also use the nav (even though you did not set it) system to get the cars bearings (GNSS).

Weird. Don’t remember ever seeing the Nav light on when I wasn’t using it. I THINK I did later have to uncheck the auto speed match setting as the dealer had turned that on OR it turned on after a reset or something. Can’t check now as they picked up the car again and back in the shop.
