  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am considering buying a 3.8 Ultimate, and have been doing a lot of reading and research on the web. Haven't been able to find anything on the update service (or not) provided for the Nav system.

Where can I find the info on this?

According to in info on that link on my 2011… it would have taken 3 hrs. It would have cost $169.00 for 6 DVDs and I would have had to make an appointment with the dealer for install at of course additional cost. It’s very unlikely I would have been updating my system.

Updates may be available for the 2015 Genesis at http://www.mapnsoft.com; however, there are no updates available yet. They claim that updates will be available about once per year.

I'll wait til next year and see if they're going to make up their mind! I'm NOT paying the dealer to do that, no way!
