Nav System orientation

Does anybody know if it's possible to change the Nav screen so that the car icon is always moving upward (toward the top of the screen)? I was able to do this on my girlfriend's Lexus ES. It makes things easier for me because I have a lousy sense of direction. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this on my Genesis.

I believe that is called the map orientation. Try to change by pressing the Map Guide button, then press the Controller. You should then see an option to select the North Up View. This should do it. Hope that helps!

I think you want to set a Track Up view. In Track Up view, the car icon is always moving upward. The map orientation automatically changes as you drive, so that your direction of travel is always toward the top of the display.

In North Up view, the map orientation is fixed with North at the top of the display regardless of your direction of travel. If you are going North, the icon moves up, If East, it moves right, South down, etc.
