  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I purchased my 2011 tech recently, without XM subscription. My question is- does this MY Genesis offer real time traffic? Thanks

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I never subscribed but as I recall those that did were not impressed. It was not very accurate due to input from some areas of the country being very poorly done. Its the old rule " garbage in = garbage out"

I had XM with traffic on two of my Ford vehicles. It's not worth it. I never listened to the satellite radio and the traffic on my iPhone is better. XM tried to sell me on keeping it on the Genesis. But since I don't listen to satellite radio, it doesn't make sense. It was $40 per month or something around there if I recall. I can have traffic and weather for free on my Iphone. And listen to music on my iPod, or even stream audio if I want.

I don't see how XM will stay in business in the future to be honest.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll probably just use the iPhone traffic as well...just need to mirror to the screen
