I have a 2012 R-spec and when I purchased the car, the radio knob was broken. You could turn the radio on and off by pushing it, but the volume wouldn't work. I used the redundant steering wheel controls. I was told by the dealer that the part was on order from Hyundai itself, and that took about 2 months to get it. Turns out that they just couldn't replace the knob, they had to change the whole radi. The knob and radio work fine now, but I have no navigation! It's stuck in Ypsalnti, MI.
It's been in the shop twice and I was told if I drove aproximately 30 miles it would kick in. Like a dope I wasted expensive premium gas to no avail. I really don't want to leave the car in the dealership for another week. Has anyone had a similar experience?
