Navigation issue

Hello Kind people ,

I bought genesis G70 2019 and have no navigation in it and I live in UAE ( Dubai )
I cannot connect my phone as apple play
Is there any solution for this ?
Do I need to buy sd card and download uae map then insert it in the slot

I cannot connect my phone to apple play and this car was bought new.
Do I have to buy and SD card and then download the map and insert it or I can fix it in another way?

I assume that you are actually talking about CarPlay? (This was confusing because I first saw that as ApplePay.)
Yes, you probably need to update the system. You can get a good 32G SD card and use the on-line update software to load the card with the newest update for your car, or you can order a pre-loaded SD card from MapNSoft.

Update: You are probably out of luck. I just saw your other post that includes your location.

You mean if I am in UAE nothing can be done ?
Or just go with your first solution ?

Depending on where your car was manufactured for (not where at, but where for), the usual available firmware updates may not work for your car.

Joegr means what was the intended destination market for that car. Different markets have different laws, requirements, standards and Genesis follows those by the options on each vehicle depending where it is intended to be used.
If your car was made for a market without the option that has your concern an update for a car currently in the UAE may not remedy the issue

Yes, I thought I was clear. Not where it was made (mine was made there too), but where was it made for when they planned to sell it. If it was originally shipped to the US, then you will be okay. If it was originally shipped to the UAE or nearby, you possibly won't be able to update for CarPlay.
