  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Navigation Map and Software Update Discussion Thread

The GV60 has CCIC. I believe it was their first model to have it.

You attached a link but if it mentions ccic I couldn’t find it. Where does it mention that?
I cant find the 2023 GV60 anywhere on their software chart. Maybe it’s the same as the 2024 but who knows.

My mistake, that article was the red dot award for the GV60 and not CCIC that the GV60 has. Below is the table from the last software update.

I cannot get a stable connection with my cord and phone, so AA keeps going off and on while using it.
I assume you've tried a different cord? CP is rock solid for me.

I have tried two different ones. It's a new phone Google Pixel but just not sure why the connection is so iffy.

Does your phone work with other wired accessories? My old phone actually had a damaged port that I only noticed from flakey CarPlay performance, because I didn't otherwise plug it into shit other than occasionally to charge.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!

Clean the charge port on your phone :)

I find if the cable can't quite make a solid connection, it gets flakey.

I think there's been some confusion/speculation/skepticism over whether or not ccIc equipped cars will get the wireless update vs the ccNc (next gen) cars. I think the 2024 Kona, the Ioniq 5N and probably most 2025 will have the new version.

I'll keep my fingers crossed

The update was also listed on the Australian update site:
And it lists "2022-24 GV60" in the eligible vehicles list:

Hopefully not too much longer before it rolls out worldwide!

I will forgive Genesis for so many things if they deliver a meaningful feature like this via OTA in Canada 🥺

Hoping for OTA but I will suck it up and go to the dealership to get this.
Now I just need Kia to do the same for my 2024 Telluride!

Someone on the GV60 subreddit posted that they got an OTA update (Version:- JW.AUS.ccIC.001.009.240708) this morning that enabled Wireless Android so fingers crossed this is going to hit soon for all of us, and include Apple CarPlay!

All this talk of OTA updates has made me look at my vehicle settings...I do not remember "disageering to OTA updates" anywhere...does anyone know how to enable this?

I was told by my dealership that this is a translation mistake, and I’m inclined to believe them as I see it in my vehicle settings as well, but have received multiple over the air updates during my years of ownership.

I am in the same boat, I have agreed on everything but at the end the OTA is not available due to disagreed to personal information collection. I think this is the problem of all OTA in Canada (the dealer told me).

I have the same as well. But also have not received notification of a single OTA update. But have only had mine since about the beginning of April.

I did have to do a Nav update manually. Can't remember which version was on there when it was delivered, but I had to manually apply the Oct 2023 update.

My system shows and Infotainment and Map update as available but I cannot start it as the button is grayed out.

Any new updates on this "Update"?
