  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2011 4.6 sedan and when I'm traveling and try to find a "point of interest along route" it always to comes up with "No Matches" on my Navi..
Have any of you guys had this problem? When I'm around my home it works but not cross country.
Am I doing something wrong?
Example...I can look up starbucks in Amarillo, TX using a "city center" but when I try "along route" it says "no matches" and my route takes me through Amarillo, TX.
Help me out. took it to dealer at home and described issue and they said it may be a satellite issue. yea right!!! sounds like they don't have a clue either.
Thanks in advance for any help

When you use POI you have a choice of "City Center" or "Near Here". Choose the latter and you'll be fine.

if you get "no matches" from a Starbucks search then there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with that system !!!! LOL

the problem is i want to find a starbucks thats 100 or so miles away along my route. i know i can wait until i get close and search "near here" but then i have to go to the map and see if its near my route. it should pull up when i select "along route". apparently nobody else is having the same problem or at least havent commented on here about it. Thanks for your input

Yes, I also have this problem. When travelling from MN to WY I was looking for restaurants "along current route" and was getting no results. I had to use my iPhone to intervene.

I am not sure Amarillo is considered a city, and even if it is, not sure it has a "city center".

According to a former executive with Boone Picken's Mesa Oil Company, which at one time was located in Amarillo, it is nothing but a "large truck stop."
