  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey guys,

I am planning on getting the RSpec rims from here:

http://www.allfactorywheels.com/products/2012-Hyundai-Genesis-19"-70824.html

Is this cheaper then what the dealer offers? (Would be $1100) which includes shipping if I bought it from AllFactoryWheels

Also what would be the best tire for this that would fit my Genesis? I want it to be as smooth and quiet as possible. I read good things about the Bridgestone serenity plus tires but they don't offer them in 19 unfortunately to fit the rspec wheels.

Doesn't sound like that good of idea considering the wheels don't include 4 center caps nor the OEM TPMS's, so I would recommend to find a seller on Ebay or the Forum. You'll fiind the wheels with TPMS's and center caps and tires for only a little more $. Trust me:)

What are your driving habits? Considering you live in FL, I wouldn't think you would run anything but a summer tire. Consider the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole positions (OEM tire for the R Spec with Summer tire option), or the Conti DW's, or the Serenity's if you can find them in 19". All of these are quiet tires with tons of grip and are some of the best in the market in regards to hydroplaning.

I hardly ever see them on eBay is the problem.

yeah man, wait and search... you'll find somebody who doesnt care for the rspec rims... then you can do a charlie sheen.

honestly i cant understand why people dont care for the rspec rims... but i've heard it from more then enough to be a minority. Personally I like them, look nice, easy to clean, hides dust resonably well.
