  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Need help with the lighting. I think I burned a fuse but dont know which one it is. I was changing out my courtesy lights (under the door 194) when I noticed the led I put in went on then turned off. Now my interior room, trunk, and courtesy lights won't go on. I tried to register On the hyundai service website but I couldn't load the privacy portion of th registration. Can someone please direct me to the right fuse and locatio where this might be? Or any other solution. Thanks.

section seven of your manual should help and labels are on cover door I think.

Thanks. Didnt realize it was in there. I checked a bunch of fuses including the memory fuse I believe, and they all look ok. Now I'm starting worry. I have a 3.8 sedan, and I'm wondering if there's a room lamp relay for this car?
Im stumped. Anyone have an idea?

I did the same thing when I installed the LED vanity lights.
I dont remember the fuse number off the top of my head, but it was in the passenger side fuse box under the hood. (I would think its the same, but mine is a rspec)

apparently i installed the LED light backward.

after that, I tested every LED on a 9v bulb to verify the correct polarity of the leads. I used my multimeter to measure the contacts to see what one was neg and what one was positive.

Beans, why not update your car model info, as well as your signature line. Do that in User CP in the menu above left.

Omg...a second fuse box under the hood. I'm am idiot. Thanks guys. Will update my specs. It was room lamp relay under the passenger side fuse box under the hood. I guess I come from small cars with one fuse box inside one fuse box under hood.

Truth be told, we should really have a second battery in our cars.

Last week I installed lighted door sills in my Genesis. I enjoyed pulling up the old sills and plugging the new LED lighted ones into the wiring harness under the sills. Took me 10 minutes. Bought the sills from Korean auto imports a.k.a. Sherwood automotive in Arizona. They arrived nicely packaged in a factory OEM box. $179 fronts/$145 rears plus free shipping.

dont feel bad, took me a while to locate it too.

i did it when my car was less than a week old, thought i damaged it that fast.

advance really charges a lot for that mini fuse.
