  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone,

Hoping to find some information about replacing the grill on my 2015 genesis. Someone stopped short in front of me while the roads were slick and I rear ended them which cracked the grill. The bumper is 99.5% in tact, just a tiny bump near the edge of the track so I want to just replace the grill. Does anyone know how much labor this is to do? I found some grill replacements on ebay for around $100 just don't know if i'm going to be able to do this myself and what it entails. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Barret

You can find the service manual here on this site. It doesn't look too difficult. Bumper cover comes off, then another couple of pieces of hardware, then the camera and then it's a couple of tabs. The main thing is not to bust any bits of plastic or plastic fasteners when you're removing bits.
