Need help side view mirrors

Hey need help, just noticed that when i put my 4.6 w/ tech gen in reverse the side view mirrors dont move. anybody have a idea. p.s. they work from the driver door. thanks brad

Slide the side mirror adjustment switch to either left or right. If the mirrors don't move when you reverse, the switch is in the center position. If I remember right, if it's set to the left both mirrors will rotate downward. If it's to the left, then only the right mirror rotates. Or it might be the other way around--I don't like the mirrors rotating so it's been a while since I messed with the setting.

If I hadn't read this site before I bought mine, I would have been a loss about the mirrors too. In my case, I would have said, "is there a way to stop the mirrors from rotating when in reverse?"

I still haven't read most of my owners' manuals!
