Need help with 2011 Genesis no start!!!

Hello to all, I'm having a problem of no start.
I've check all of the obvious ( battery,fuses etc.) It will start up fine the 1st time but if I shut it off and try to restart the dash lights will flash on then off but no start. I go to the trunk and take the negative cable off and put it back on and it starts right up fine again. So taking the cable off and on is resetting something ?
Any help will greatly be appreciated
