  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi, I am trying to go dealership tomorrow and get Genesis Coupe because they are having pretty good deal for me because of space for 2016, and here is my question.
How does hyundai warranty works??? if i am buying genesis coupe band new tomorrow does automatic warranty plan comes with it? if so, what??
it seems like hyundai have 10yr/100k 5yr/60k 7yr/unlimited ???
and if they charge for choosing warranty, how much should i expect and which one should i choose???
also, any tips for me??? before head to dealer tomorrow??

Here is the Hyundai Warranty for the USA. Each country has their own Hyundai warranty. Read the webpage very carefully and pay attention to exceptions and footnotes.

Some parts of the warranty are only applicable for the original owner, if you are buying used, although a CPO designated used car is considered to be original owner.

You can also purchase a Hyundai extended warranty, but you don't need to purchase at the same time as you buy the car, and can buy from any dealer, so shop around for that if you want one.

If you can negotiate a better price by purchasing a warranty from them at the time, you can always go back in a few days later and cancel it.

Coupe is redesigned for model year 2016. Why not wait to see if you prefer the new features? Worst case, then leftover 2015s will be even cheaper

Not sure if that works, since the finance guy/girl gets the commission on the warranty, and the commission for the car sale goes to other people.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I guarantee it works. I did it on my Sonata purchase last year and my Genesis purchase this year. You have a 45 day grace period for a full refund on the policy they tried to sell me. You have a 30 day grace period on the Hyundai platinum warranty i think. It may be longer but i know it as least 30 days. The only reason they came down to my price was they thought they were going to screw me 4 grand on the plan.
