  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

what’s up to all the Genesis owners just got my 5.0 rspec 2013 Genesis and was trying to get it lighter and do some power upgrades. Does anyone have good ideas? Did the cold air intake and straight pipes after the first sets of cats do to the sensors.

There's not much aftermarket support. Springs/Coilovers about it. Theres even less for the 2nd gen 5.0s

Yeah that’s what I’ve been noticing if anything it would have to be a fabrication and I was wondering if after market wheels would be lighter than the factory wheels I know the handling would benefit form the stock tires as they are definitely skinny.

yea most likely but the oem makes them heavy to "last longer" depending on where you live you might fubar aftermarket rims a lot quicker.
Youtube has a couple of guys with the rspec with alot of good info

ecu and tcu tune would be the best bang for buck, google it for our cars

Unfortunately, I agree with the above 100%.

You can go air + wheels for looks. Performance-wise...nothing worth doing.

Your car is fast enough. Fergawdsakes, it’s got 429 hp!

Just get a Genesis badge for your trunk and save the rest of your wallet for repairs (it’s a ‘13 model) and speeding tickets.
